Project Update – Centennial Park of the North
The Quickway team at Hornsby Quarry has completed the final concrete pavement slab on Bridge Road, which will become the main access for the ‘Centennial Park of the North’.
A unique pavement reinforcement detail has meant that all concrete has had to be hand-placed and it is testament to the skill and experience of the workforce.
The team received high praise from the client, who stated:
“Quickway have performed admirably as a team, working in among other trades to provide a high standard of JRCP but also meeting the target construction program. Quickway provided a BBQ to celebrate completion of the JRCP and near completion of Type-F barriers. Congratulations to everyone working at the Quarry on this stellar effort!”
