Project Overview
The Sapphire to Woolgoolga project was a 25 kilometre upgrade of highway (increasing capacity to a four lane highway) on the northern side of Coffs Harbour. The project was designed to improve overall road safety and traffic efficiency, and is one section of the upgrade of the Pacific Highway (which runs between Sydney and Brisbane). Structures on the project include numerous bridges, several interchanges, and extensive paving and other concrete works.
