Safety Award of the Quarter – Ross Turner
Safety Award of the Quarter for October to December goes to Ross Turner from our Utilities Division. During weekend shutdown work in November on a Parramatta-based project, Ross spotted that a maintenance worker at a nearby property had just fallen from a glass roof and was hanging from his harness. He immediately alerted the other members of his crew and together they acted swiftly by retrieving a ladder and rescuing the worker – bringing him safely to the ground and ensuring no injury occurred. This commendable action took place at the end of a busy weekend’s work and illustrates the commitment of our teams to the welfare of the communities in which they work.
